Extra Light Malt Extract (2.5¥ L) 1 Hour boil. Hops: 1 oz. Amarillo hops (8.9% AAU) at start 1 oz. Amarillo at :30 1/2 oz. Amarillo at :45 1/2 oz. Amarillo at :55 Add water to 5 gallons. Cool to 70¥. Pitch Wyeast # 1056 (American Ale Yeast) Primary: 10 days at 70¥ F Secondary: 29 days at 70¥ F Prime with 3/4 cup corn sugar at bottling. Rating: 23 out of possible 50. Judges comments: "Somewhat oxidized, has a caramelly aroma, fruity - baby aspirin & citrus... ...Old, extracty, oxidized, also has a touch of sourness as well. Some jusel alcohol, hot finish... Try using newer extract or DME. Also lower fermentation temp and try a different yeast to remove sourness. Mark McDermott
